Wow... This cured my sickness

Actually this is my album.... Uhhh it's pretty fawking sweet so you should download it.... Maybe just a song at first.... Then if that goes well maybe another song.... Then you should go nuts and buy the whole thing.... You set the pace in this lifetime champ! Anyways it's a good album except for track 14 which is outtakes and those aren't really anything to write home about.

Equally as Good as Any Other Set of Classic Boston Hits

It's a new kind of robby: honest, down to earth, and on key. Great set of songs here--I think Allston city has changed my life. These 14 songs will stay in your head all day (whether you want them to or not), and create a B-town ambiance that Neil Diamond would be jealous of. Looking forward to the new R.Steamah cd coming out soon. Keep up the good work, robby.

the mind of a ninja and the strength of 1,000 ninjas.

There's kind of two phases of Robby's music: the earlier stuff is purely over the top and intentionally ridiculous, but starting with this album he's been going for something different: The hair metal influence is entirely gone, and while there's still humor, you're more likely to be laughing because you can relate, or at least know someone it reminds you of. Sure the references in "Allston City" might be lost on you if you've never been there, but on the other hand, who hasn't worked a soul-sucking retail job ("Marijuana Train"), gotten frustrated with their local music scene ("The Boston Music Scene"), stayed in a relationship long after the passion burned out ("Comfortable Shoe"), or gotten all the power-ups taken from them while playing Altered Beast on two-player mode ("Altered Beast")? In addition, this is possibly the most catchy set of melodies he's put together. Of all the Roadsteamer albums, this is one of the best start off with.
