Album Review
Each release in the Rockabye Baby! series takes the best-known songs of a particular artist and places them in a lullaby processor that involves chimes, bells, and vibraphones — renditions that are slightly more involved than the music that comes out of the average baby mobile. Whether the original versions are heavy and aggressive or light and subdued, these lullaby versions are uniformly appropriate for their purpose. And, in some cases, they even happen to tease out an unlikely amount of melodicism not apparent in the originals. The Metallica volume features versions of "One," "Enter Sandman," "The Unforgiven," "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)," "(Anethesia) Pulling Teeth" (as opposed to "cutting teeth"), and even "Master of Puppets."

I never tire of this CD
I am a preschool teacher of 20 three year olds and I LOVE this CD! I have probably listened to this CD about 600 times and I never get tired of listening to it. The kiddos all fall asleep and sleep so soundly to it. I even have parents and teachers that come in when this CD is on and stop in their tracks when they hear it and say "Is this who I think it is?" YOU NEED THIS CD FIRST AND FOREMOST!! Sweet Rockin' Dreams!!
Just had a baby and...
My 6 day old daughter loves this cd. Was kinda thrown off when i saw this, but i'ts so soothing. Been a huge tallica fan for many years and the melodies and such are just fantastic. Beats any of the string quartet stuff hands down! Even after a stessed out day at work i'll throw on my ipod and within minutes i'm relaxed!! Well worth the cash to sleep all night!!
I wish I had this as a baby/child
I love this. I am die hard Metallica fan and this is great. I just wish I had this for myself 25 years ago...even though most of the songs weren't yet written. I have the Led Zepellin and the Tool one too! Just great...and I don't even have kids yet...but I am prepared for this small mircro-portion of it all!
