Album Review
Each release in the Rockabye Baby! series takes the best-known songs of a particular artist and places them in a lullaby processor that involves chimes, bells, and vibraphones — renditions that are slightly more involved than the music that comes out of the average baby mobile. Whether the original versions are heavy and aggressive or light and subdued, these lullaby versions are uniformly appropriate for their purpose. And, in some cases, they even happen to tease out an unlikely amount of melodicism not apparent in the originals. The Nine Inch Nails volume features versions of "Something I Can Never Have," "Hurt," "Closer," "Sin," and "Wish."

Lullabies for adults
For adults who like to listen to the radio while they sleep, this is far better than listening to your local classical station. Especially if you're adults who ever had a Nine Inch Nails phase at some point in your life. The songs are pacifying and hypnotic, as well as a little intoxicating. For those of you concerned with singing along the lyrics of "Closer" to your infant, the lyrics to most of these songs are not exactly for young ears. Play it for them anyway, as the lyrics are absent. The true fans can slumber to these familiar Reznor licks.
I have one complaint
Being a big NIN fan, I would have gotten this regardless of whether or not I have a kid. Being that I have a kid, Closer should not have been included on this disc. The great thing about the Rockabye Baby series is that the renditions actually lend themselves to signing along quite well. Can you imagine, singing Closer to your child and unknowingly the neighborhood hears you through the open window...I just skip it everytime.

Im a NIN fan so perhaps Im a bit biased, but this is awesome. Not ALL of the songs are good, but Sin, the Fragile and Something I can never have are GOLD. Heck with playing this for the infant, Im going to listen to this to put mommy to sleep. We listen to a mix of NIN when we go to sleep anyways, but the problem is that the volume of the songs goes quiet to loud too much, and either its silent or screaming, at least this solves the volume problem.
