If Sparse took you down the rabbit hole, Lush will take you all the way through wonderland. From enigmatic tracks like Kant Shivers and Athenas Perch, David's voice goes from an intense poetic tenor to positively angelic and leaves you in a dream like state. He makes the kind of music that doesn't just sound good but creates an almost visual quality to it. Lost Drudgery and the Day is one of my favorite tracks that boasts not only cool vocals but also a bitchin music video. If you want to escape from the mundane world seriously think about getting this album.
