Epic
What an extraordinary band, they played a single 20 minute encore song before System of a Down came on and stole the show. Like santana on speed, they reminded me of of the pure energy of seeing Janes Addiction in the tiny I-beam on Haight St. way back when. This track was played easily for 15 minutes and epitomized their unique fusion of latin, jazz and rock. Incredible musicians! See them live!
The full version is MUCH better
This "radio edit" is only 4 and a half minutes long. The real version of the song is over 12 minutes long- that's almost 3x! The Mars Volta is an AMAZING band, and their albums are "concept albums"- you have to listen to the whole thing to get a good idea of the feel of each song. If you like this song I recommend you buy the whole Frances The Mute album for $9.99 rather than get a cheesy radio edit for $0.99. It's worth it.

Don't listen to them. This song is great as it is in Frances the Mute, you'd be crazy to buy this one. If you haven't already been re-directed to that CD by another reviewer, just go and get it already!
