Album Review
On Machine, a mile-a-minute thrashfest, Static X frontman Wayne Static merely howls, growls, crashes, and burns on his band's second album. The differences among "Black and White," "This Is Not," and "Cold" are barely distinguishable, and the overload of electronic gadgetry and kerosene vocals hardly disguises the lack of actual songs here. This is metal machine music for post-modern robots.

The other posters don't seem to like this album, but it is my favorite, especially the title track. This is the album that introduced me to Static-X and then kept me interested!
Really iTunes?
Why are several album reviews for Static X so clearly biased and hateful? "Lack of actual songs," really? Static X has a unique sound that thousands of people appreciate. Cold is one of favorite songs. So, stop writing disparaging reviews please; iTunes should remain impartial and informational.
One of my fav Static-X cds
I have been listening to Static-X since highschool and i have followed them and their cds ever since. Machine will always be my fav of all their cds...It just has everything going for it. I remember seeing them tour with that cd and it was one of the best shows.
