A whole new take on a seasoned artist
I like when you meld the old and the new together, and i believe this album by Wehrle does just that. I've always enjoyed listening TW's extremely honest lyrics and his ability to hook a song with the melody. This project builds on those strengths, yet explores a new musical path with electronic downbeats resonating through several songs. If it's possible to be both electronic and earthy (guitar/acoustic piano style), Tom has done just that.
Of course, Tom is a true pianist, so he has several ballads that will make you consider the gift of love and friendship that you share with others. It's a great find and I recommend Mad City Tragedy to anyone looking to find a very fun, honest album.
