Go ahead - click on "Late Freight" by Dave Hamilton --- and just try to resist the uh, errr, "emergency" flask you have hidden in that secret drawer in your desk that's probably been in that dusty office of yours since prohibition... this killer track deserves to be strapped to a well-worn Raymond Chandler paperback, and you know it, Marlowe...
"More" by Trombonist/Bandleader Kai Winding & Claus Ogerman -- now that's a serious breath of fresh air that reads like a cross between "Telstar" by The Tornados and "Lonely Surfer" by Jack Nitzsche...fun fact: future jazz guitar great Kenny Burrell was featured on the entire MORE album and also on this recording...
Tracks like "The Big Wheel" by Howard Crockett always bring to mind some truck-drivin' man regaling the local saloon crowd with some tall tales -- that "click clack/tic-tac"-style guitar is a real hoot...bring it on and try to resist.

These are all fantastic, but I feel like this one coulda really used "Ballad of A Thin Man" by Bob Dylan. I always think of Don Draper when I hear it.
