Beautiful album
Well done, relaxing, and chill instrumentals. Cigana is great while Make Make 2 is perfect for driving down the freeway at high speeds.
Paper Tiger brings it home
This album is an abstract blend with hip-hop at the core. You can tell Paper Tiger knows how to party, but this album is thoughtful. The tracks journey from neckbreakers at the start, classic chill-out, R&B heartbreak, elegant abstractions, and ending with a final track fit for any down-tempo classic. The melodies are haunting and these loops will stick with you all day. This is an album that will leave you wishing for more tracks in the best way.
Production Quality
I've been very impressed by most of the Doomtree releases when it comes to the quality of production from a producer, engineer, and mastering standpoit. When I first started skimming through the songs on Paper Tigers album using the crappy speakers on my laptop I was immediately impressed by how clear the music sounded (even the low end frequencies). I instantly broke out my DT770 studio recording headphones to get a better idea and was blown away. The production quality of this album is unsurpassed.
