There are better 7th's
This is MTT second Mahler 7th, the first with the LSO, this his sixth disc in his highly acclaimed San Fran Mahler Cycle. Unfortunately, this disc takes a small step back from his succesful first account. For Mahler fans, I would recommend it, but for those seeking a defintive version, you cannot go wrong with Gielen's SWR account, which is the greatest 7th on record(available on Itunes for same price)
Amazing
This was a wonderful musical album, and must say that MTT is very origional in his conducting style of this piece. I applaud his tendancy to do things out of the norm, a well structured CD.
