Pieced together like a last-minute party, and about as fun, Mail On Sunday gathers up the hottest rap and R&B artists who have had a smash hit on the charts in the last six months and does its best to tap into the sound and mood of early 2008. Pure, unadulterated hedonism is the name of Flo Rida’s game. Sex and alcohol fold into a single come-on in “Ms Hangover:” “She had Hennessy hips, and Belve’ eyes / Grey Goose on her lips, and cognac thighs.” Flo is at his strongest when an expert producer is helping him focus, and the album’s first half is chock full of delirious party-starters, including the Timbaland-helmed “Elevator,” and “Roll,” produced by J.R. Rotem. Left to his own devices, however, Flo flounders. (“Me & U” is soupy and shapeless, for instance.) Flo Rida fares best in the company of his pals. With T-Pain in tow, “Low” has an unstoppably catchy hook, while Lil’ Wayne lends his irresistibly eccentric persona to the grandiose “American Superstar.” While it remains to be seen if people will still be listening to Flo Rida in ten years, Mail On Sunday will stand as a time capsule of club music in March, 2008.

Sex, Drugs, Rap and Roll
Rick Ross, Flo Rida, Fat Joe, 50 Cent, etc. The list goes on. "Rappers" whose fame comes from the general population of the United States that has no ear for music, but only wants to hear mainstream mindless vulgar because they think it's cool, and will make them cool. Popular culture is attempting to destroy rap, and Hip Hop. But Hip Hop won't stop. Ignorance can be cured, but stupidity can't. Wake up if you've still got some smarts up there. Hip Hop is dying, commercial rap is choking it.

Same garbage that's destroyed Hip-Hop music. If it's not money, or gettin' "low" (are they seriously still singing this crap?) or the way they "roll" they have nothing.
not too bad for a debut
"shawty got low" man, how many times have you heard that in a day? me i hear it about 5-8 times a day and heres the debut album from the rapper whos single tore apart the charts and stayed #1 for a really really really long time. American Superstar - pretty decent cut to start off the album with, of course weezy makes a great addition to the song, sweet beat - 3.5/5 Act Like You Know - personally i dont like his voice on this one 2/5 Elevator - some intense production from timbaland on this track, excellent club banger, all around great song - cop it if you havent already 4.5/5 Roll - sean kingston is actually making his way into alot of songs lately, i think he has a nice appearence in this track, sweet beat to match and solid verses from flo. 3.5/5 Low - do i even need to say anything? its low, you either have it or you should buy it right now. 5/5 Priceless - eh i'm just not a big birdman fan at all, him and flo just i cant go for, decent beat though 2.5/5 Ms. Hangover - well if you didnt notice the title, you can figure out what its about, i think its a dumb topic but hey whatever works for ya, it actually has a tight beat though...i wonder who does the chorus? 3/5 Still Missin - i guess heartfelt tracks arent always hearfelt, because the backround chanting makes me want to hit somethiing. 2/5 In the Ayer - this is gunna be the 3rd single, we got some amazing production from will.i.am, and flo rida has some good lyrics, reminds me a little bit of low, i'm def fellin this one - 4.5'/5 Me & U - i dont know what it is but so far it seems any song he is in by himself is a skipper? 1.5/5 All My Life - same follows as the above comment. its a bit better though - 2/5 Don't Know How To Act - yung joc is kickin it big with the chorus on this cut, i suggest getting it. it may not be radio material but def a club banger 4/5 Freaky Deaky - okay i love trey songz his awesome but come on, trey doesnt belong in a trash song like this. freaky deaky? wtf.. 0/5 Money Right - some hot production on this one, the beat is crazy, rick ross and brisco add to the song nicely but man that beat is sicc. club banger? 4/5 Overall i'd say flo's new album wasnt that bad, there were some really bad songs that def should of been either changed to better songs or just taken out entirely. the one thing i noticed is that he only did well on the songs he had somebody with him in to spit verses. makes me wonder...
