Just not the same w/out Vanessa.
Truthfully, 4 Strings lost a good thing when Vanessa left. The group is very talented, but it's clear she was what gave 4 Strings their name. Unfortunately for the remainder of the band, fans are returning looking for that same sound, and it's no where to be found but in her last recording (Sunrise) and yet another remix of Take Me Away. It almost seems like a desperate attempt to recruit the Vanessa fans and dish out some ok material. Either way, I wish them luck and that they find their edge.

I listened to this album at least 5 times and I still keep on wanting.. yearning for more. I soon discovered that vanessa's voice was absent and I was like what the ???? Her voice was the reason 4 Strings is like my number 2 trance group... I'm sadden to say it's about to change. The only tracks I truely enjoyed were with vanessa singing in them.... I give credit to Carlo, but it's not the same... Very repetitive sounds, not to say they wouldn't be great with vanessa but without her it's not cool.... :(
A Great Comeback
This is an excellent third album for 4 Strings. The first thing noticeable about this album is that it definitely has a different feel from the first two albums; it is a bit darker than the other albums, but it still has that great touch that only 4 Strings can deliver. It was depressing to learn that Vanessa, the lead singer from the first two albums, left the group, but this album pays a tribute to her with the big single "Sunrise" and also a remix of "Take Me Away." Although Vanessa is gone, the new singer brings a new touch that adds great quality and a new feel to 4 Strings to make this a great 4-star album. Way to go!
