Making Up for Lost Time

Good Collection of Songs by a Talented Musician and Follower of Jesus

     

My husband and I first heard David sing and play at a small church in the South end many years ago. Don't remember how we heard about the concert, but I do remember it. David is blessed not only with a good heard for God, but a lot of talent. We both enjoyed David's singing and playing, but were amazed when we experienced his last song, Warriors of Prayer. You could see and feel the darkness and the light in that song as he performed it. I remember feeling shivers up and down my spine as I listened to parts of it. We purchased both CDs he had for sale at the end of the concert. The other CD is no longer available, but I believe this re-released CD includes songs from both album collections. David re-recorded my favorite from the other CD (Amy's Song) on his next CD, Traveling Companion.

We didn't hear about David Harsh for quite a while after that. I believe he emailed us when he was getting ready to release Traveling Companion for pre-orders.

My favorite songs on this CD are Follow, I Know Who I Am, I Hear Your Name, Walking Wounded, Cornerstone, Champion, Surrender, Keepers of the Flame, and of course Warriors of Prayer. If you get the opportunity, you'll want to see that one live to fully experience it. Every time I listen to it I am brought back to that first experience of seeing it performed live for the first time.
