Eat the Power Sushi!!!
Tokyo girls are sexy and this album is full of sexy Japanese girl bands....gritty, punky and powerpop tunes make you wanna google every name on the tracklist and I would. These gals are damn HOT! There's a couple of boy bands that are pretty good in the mix too. Think Nikki and the Corvettes, Bowie, The Ramones and Joan Jett..but younger, sexier and even more glamorous! This album is full of tracks that you'd only hear if you were a local or you travelled to underground Tokyo to their gigs. For a big fan of Japanese Punk like moi- this is the best of the best.

Great compilation of bands out of Japan. Really reminds me of the scene in "Kill Bill" with the band playing and everyone getting chopped up. Checked out some of their myspace pages as well, love that crazy "bonzai" approach and cute japanese punk rock chicks...too cool. And who cares if it is "Manga" music or not guys, it seems to capture the vibe...I have so much enjoy !
