Hip-Hop @ Its Finest!!
Be prepared to hear Gaknew share the ups & downs of life through poetic lyrics & FRESH beats. Any fan of JayZ will be a fan of Gaknew. This CD is hip-hop at its finest---The female rapper Thea & the back up singer Jimetta Rose mixed with Gaknew adds a powerful groove. Every song is good---buy the whole CD you won't regret it!!
Hip Hop with a heart
This is what hip hop heads are requesting when they ask for real hip hop. I can totally tell that Gaknew is driven by a purpose larger than himself. Feel the emotion jumping off the tracks.
This CD stays in the car
I buy a lot of CD's from artists that I see perform live, but this is one of the few albums that stays in the car. This is one those albums that you put on and let play, no skipping, no scanning. The more you listen to it, the more you feel the culture of hip-hop. L.A. Dodgers, Child of the City, and Grammy could easily get mainstream attention... but for the sake of underground heads, maybe it's best that it doesn't. Either way, this is one of the few albums that I bought at a show that didn't get archived right away, and it'll stay in the rotation for a while.
