Respectfully, it doesn't come down to tempo, it comes down to tempo, we can't judge this song on mechanics but on what the song has to say and those who have the courage to say it. Tempo is suggestive, a style thing, the words aren't. Listen to the words, it's one of the greatest comments on the insanity of what the U.S. manufactured in the name of defense and business the world has ever known. Warren and Ray sang it live, sometimes tempo is the last thing you can control when playing a song like "Masters" live. Live the music, learn from it, pass it along, we will all be a lot better in the future. Yes we can.
