Four for you, Matty. You go, Matty!
I'd like to point out to all of you haters who are begging "actors" to stop becoming "singers" that Mr. Matthew Morrison was ALWAYS a singer first. He started out in BROADWAY MUSICALS. So this isn't some Miley Cyrus, or Hillary Duff, or Selena Gomez type person, trying to expand their career into music. Quite the opposite, in fact. He expanded his career into TELEVISION. Now. to the REAL deal. This album is quite good. If it could give it 4.5 stars, I would. Because I think it's slightly better than "good" but definitely not worthy of a perfect rating. His duet with Elton John is amazing, but let's face it. Elton John could make ME sound good. He and Gwyneth's voices mesh really well, and even though his renditions of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" are becoming a little stale, It's still a good song. Now, I haven't been a fan of Matty Fresh for too long, really I came in late to the game, halfway into season 1 of Glee. But that doesn't mean I can't spot talent when I see it. Summer Rain is fun, but it's gotten old. I think it's one of those songs you can only really listen to so many times, and we'll see about the rest. I truly believe "My Name" is very raw. It's filled with deep emotion, and truth. I love it.
Here's the bottom line. Matt here has a GREAT voice, and he's easy on the eyes. I think this is a great start for him into the world of solo recording, and I'm anxiously awaiting what else he has in store for us. Listen to the songs, and be your own judge.

Great voice! Never heard him sing so well before! Great album, too and a great selection of fantastic popsongs! You should get it! Also great and a great time filler: "Cozy Nights"!
