Well worth the wait!

This is a superfan essential (even though I already have the original release from 1997). The added bonus here is that Janice Whaley of The Smiths Project is featured on Trees. Her contribution to the song is well worth the purchase. The entire album is something you can certainly sink into. In college, I kept Mayfield on repeat throughout many study sessions and it still gets replayed quite a bit before I head out to Curt Smith solo shows... Curt's voice is apart of that ABSOLUTE MAGIC that marvels Tears for Fears fans globally. The solo projects by both leads (Roland and Curt) were dynamic and different. Mayfield is another one of the solo gems... it's a must have not only for die-hard fans but for those who need something to carry them through the day. It's the perfect soundtrack to a road trip with friends or a loved one... it's what you need in the background after a very long day... Movies could be made around this entire album. The tales and pictures it paints are artistic and moving. It's certainly something you'll put in your iPod and run away with on repeat.
