With their fourth album, Rascal Flatts firmly nailed down the country-pop formula that has made them one of the best-selling acts of recent years: take some soaring close harmony singing, throw in a pinch of rock, R&B, and gospel, and then have the finest engineers and producers in Nashville polish it to a silky sheen. There's nothing unexpected here, but fans of the GRAMMY-winning trio will not be disappointed. The album is mostly made up of well-constructed power ballads with catchy melodies that are tailor-made for their strong voices, along with a few rockers, such as the title tune and "Backwards," a footloose take on an old joke about what happens when you play a country record in reverse. They also mix things up a bit on "Yes I Do," giving the song a light reggae rhythm that works surprisingly well. Smooth and enjoyable, Me and My Gang highlights exactly why these young guys are already veteran chart toppers.

Yesirrreeee, they are p r e t t y dog gone good......
I have to say, this album is probably their best one so far, and I can't wait to see what they still have yet to produce in the upcoming years. Their songs like My Wish, Life is a Highway, What Hurts the Most, I Feel Bad, Stand, He Ain't the Leavin' Kind, You, Like I Am, Melt, These Days, and all the rest are just unbelievable how they relate to all of life's trials, hurts, wishes, and blessings, and how in the end God is always the one in control and He is always watching over us through every step of our lives....so ya, they are a pretty good band, so get their music

Great Music!
This is defidently a cd worth listening to. My favorite songs are "Stand", "My Wish", "Words I couldn't Say", and "Me and My Gang". Be sure to listen to those. Overall, the whole album is excellent and will appeal to all country/pop lovers.Rascal Flatts is a great group, and make sure that you check out their previous albums, thery're all as wonderful as this one.
