Good Jam Band Fodder
Tracks 2, 4, 5, 7 and version of Bertha (8) are very good. The musicianship is evident and first rate throughout.
The Ghost Arrives!
Simply put, this is the best CD I have heard in a long, long time. All the superlatives apply: masterful musicianship, great songwriting, wonderful, creative solos. The mark of any great band is arrangements, and the Ghost has that down. Larry Schmid and the Ghost have proven, once and for all, that they are a band to be reckoned with, and now they step into the spotlight with an album of original songs that proves they are more than a jam band, more than a cover band, more than just another rock & roll band. The sound they achieve along with guitar hooks draws you in to the music on a journey you won't want to end. The songs are first rate, the playing is awesome. GET this CD if you love creative rock and roll that just plain sounds great. Great Caesar's Ghost is making new fans every day. My highest rating and my hat is off to these guys.
