Kids, Don't do drugs...
...just listen to 'Echoes' in the dark.
Great Album
Meddle I've always thought was one of Pink Floyd's most underrated albums. It's a transitonal album, different from what they had previously done before.
Even though it's not considered a landmark album, one can see the new directions in Floyds sound that would eventually culminate in the brillant "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Wish You Were Here'
So one can rightly asume that "Meddle" bridges the gap so to speak as to what Floyd had previously done before and what they would do in the years to come. Without "Meddle" It's my opinion that there would be no "Dark Side" "Wish You Were Here" or "The Wall" for that matter. This is such a more focused effort by the group which gives a hint at their genius and the genius to come. Basically every song on here is a winner, I'd start my Pink Floyd collection if you're a newbie with "Meddle" My opinion yes but that's how I feel.

I know this probably won't happen, but please make Echoes available so you don't have th buy the whole album just to get the one song...
