Used often by Grey's Anatomy

Kate Havnevik's songs are really popular on Grey's Anatomy. We all remember last season's finale when Derek and Meredith slept together at the prom. Well, the song, "Grace" was by Havnevik but isn't on this album. However, song #13, "So:Lo" was used in the episode where Mer got an appendectomy and let Finn go. And who could forget the song where Derek pulls Meredith out of the water this season? Well, the song playing was #11:"Timeless". Kate Havnevik's music is ok, good for those who like vocal music w/ an extra side of blues I guess. If you're a Norah Jones fan, you'll pretty much like this album.

Simply amazing..

You can tell that Kate Havnevik truly sings for the love of music. My three favorites of hers, Timeless, Nowwhere Warm, and New Day all have deep underlying tones that give them a mysterious feel but her light and enchanting voice bring a different spin on it. This album strays away from the pop culture that has become "music" these days and highlights why we fall in love with music in the first place. I too am a fan of Grey's Anatomy, which has featured her numerous times..and I also love Imogen Heap which, I do agree, does sound similar to Kate. Don't pass this album by!

WOW

Well the only reason I clicked on this CD was because of the cover. Her voice reminds me alot of Imogen Heap. I like this type of music because it it realxing and calming.

Since then Havnevik has explored a wide breadth of styles before settling on three main instruments of choice: guitar, piano, and melodica. A demo of her was played on the widely influential Morning Becomes Eclectic program on L.A.'s KCRW-FM and won her a loyal fan base. More recently...
