A very Merry Mixmas
This is one of the best Christmas mixes I have ever heard. I love the whole CD from beginning to end. I love Christmas music but I am a young guy so when I go on dates during the holiday season I pop this cd in and the ladies love it. One, it's cool that we are listening to Christmas music and two, it makes me cooler because the music is different. Very Stylish!!! Fantastic Buy!!!
Mixmas For Christmas
Fantastic collection! Unlike the earlier reviewer, my vantage point is from across a few more decades, but with the same vote of 5 stars. In my case, I was looking for something a little different, but with some semblence of familiarity, for my 52nd Christmas, and this album satisfies both. I knew I'd be buying after sampling the first track I listened to by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. Floored me. And the rest doesn't slouch either! Great for all ages. Contemporary with a distinct and appreciated nod to the past, this is now top shelf in my holiday collection. Again, 5 stars.
One of my all-time favorites
I received this as a demo copy in 2005, and was attracted to it due to the stellar work that had been done on the Shirley Bassey remix set. My favorite track is a toss-up between Julie London and Kay Starr, but I feel that you would enjoy them all if you are a fan of jazz or electronic music.
