I've been pleasantly poisoned!
Belladonna is one of those rare bands that defy genre. The band itself calls it rock noir I believe, and their dark rock sound is infectious. The voice of vocalist luana will hypnotize you with its dark sensuality. With a voice reminiscent of Kate Bush and Martha Davis, it wont be long until you're hooked on her and this cd. The other musicians are top notch as well. Dani's Guitar licks, Alice's keys..all the band members shine throughout this cd. Some of the choice tracks on here are the haunting "ghost", the rockin should be a single "resurrect my soul", and the deeply affecting cd closer "morpheus". Unlike most modern cds this release contains no filler at all. I have a hard time just listening to one song and then putting something else on the ipod..no, it has to be the whole cd! Get yours too and you'll see what i mean :).....I'm already dying to hear new music from this band!
Beautiful and Entoxicating!
This is a truly excellent album as it is not only unique, but it is captivating and amzing from beginning to end! Luana, the lead singer, has a unique and beautiful voice which is both seductive and powerful. Belladonna is the first Rocknoir band to be created and they create their awesome music like masters, although they've only been together a year! Sinful, seductive, powerful, mysterious, erotic, and intense are only a few words to discribe their music. It is worth the download!
