Album Review
Released in 2006, Mi Niña Lola is the third album from Spanish singer Buika, and her second release from that year. Besides her usual mixing of flamenco music with R&B and jazz, Buika has included some traditional copla songs, including the title track. Guitarist Niño Josele provides accompaniment while flamenco veteran Javier Limón handles production.

A Revelation!
It took a year for this album to make it to the U.S. and it is certainly worth the wait. Concha Buika is a singer with power, style and emotion and the ability to use them all. She handles flamenco, bolero, and jazz balads reminiscent of Nina Simone with equal aplomb. Definitely music for romance and truly addicting. Once you listen, you will want more. Hopefully it will come soon.

Been waiting for Concha since I saw her for the first time in Jesus Quintero "El Loco de La Colina" TV show. It was a pleasure to hear and listen to Buika’s voice, such a great, sweet and harmonious voice. I have been looking all over for Concha since that day. MI NIÑA LOLA is a wonderful song.
