Artists are often inspired by their location… painters, writers and musicians. Case in point, guitarist Robert Harris’ new project, MIAMI SUN, spills over with sunshine, rich musical textures and cosmopolitan grooves that are reflective of this multi-cultural, southern city that the project is titled after. Track after track MIAMI SUN shines with relaxing, radio-friendly tunes that make the project perfect to spin in it’s entirety while you chill out on your ride home, during your weekend activities or to keep the stress down in the office. From tranquil to upbeat… the always smooth Robert Harris showcases his appreciation for fine guitars on his recordings, for you enthusiasts, he uses a Paul McGill Super Ace, a Breedlove Pacific and both the Godin Multiac and Flat Five X on this project… all of which he plays with great dexterity. Have enjoyed Robert's music since I first heard it at Lou Gardens Moonlight Jazz Fest in Orlando Fl. Have followed a bought every new release since and await further new music. His music is very relaxing and invigorating allowing you to forget your daily worries and loss yourself in the music. Thank You and keep it up:)
