Incredible and appealing. Modern Music for all
There are several modern masterpieces on this album. Dont let the idiotic cover fool you into thinking this is childish music. Rather-it is fun, masterfully composed music that should appeal to everyone, even those unfamiliar with classical music. Those pieces which are best on this album are the Javelin, December, Run, and Charcoal. The second mvmt of the Sax Concerto is also one of the finest modern slow mvmts I have heard in a while. Couldnt recommend this more highly.
