Still worshipful, but more rock-oriented.

Some of Smitty's best...
If you are a "new" fan of his music(post 80s), you will probably love this album. You can almost feel the new ground he is breaking in Christian music in his songs. However, I would put the hooks and melodies of these songs up against any today.
Great stuff.

I have been a Smitty fan since the eighties. This Album brings back a lot of good memories.
Michael W Smith's First Grammy Win!
This album brought Michael his first Grammy for Best Gospel Performance Male. It has a very eighties sound (which I like) but the message and the song craft and his great vocals are all there. A really uplifting, album and also really great for fans of eighties music.
