Album Review

Jenssen's fascination with science-fiction in general (specifically, space) powers his debut album for the R&S wing, Apollo. Welding eerie samples to house rhythms, Microgravity has a sinister quality that's refreshing compared to much ambient-house of the early '90s.

album from a different world

the album cover has a peculiar way of aiding you into the theme of this album, a metallic, floating, anti-gravity eye type thing... god, it looks familiar, maybe I have seen it before in some classic sci-fi film, but it keeps reminding me of something from space, another world, and thats exactly what this album does... a trip through space, near and far, and then a brief trip in the swamps of a planet much like ours, in the track Cygnus-A... this album is just classic... all you sci-fi weirdos will love this album and its samples from old sci-fi films... Get it!

Wierd in a wonderful way
