Really good EP by a promising band
These guys are legit. Soulful and catchy at the same time. If the Killers and the Cold War Kids had a love child it would be U.S. Royalty, and these guys deserve all the success of those other two bands.
Saw them live tonight
I saw these guys live at the 9:30 Club in DC and they are AMAZING live. I couldn't stop smiling during their set. I wish their EP could capture the energy of their live performance. Still, this is great music and deserves attention. The 30-second clips don't do it justice.
An EP for Indie Rock enthusiasts
It's only a matter of time before US Royalty are headlining major festivals and rubbing shoulders with other great indie bands. I've had this EP for a few weeks now and I just cycle through the album over and over again. These are 5 of their best songs but "Every Summer" is definitely the shining star on this album. Their music has this exciting vibe which makes them really good for listening to when you're driving or road tripping. I'm thinking of getting Midsommar on 7inch vinyl since everyone says that vinyl sounds so much better than mp3s.
