Album Review
With the addition of former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, The The attempted their most ambitious album yet with Mind Bomb. Instead of the darkly polished dance-pop stylings of Infected, Mind Bomb opens up the music to reveal a slow, winding textured world of sound that celebrates its rough edges instead of hiding them. It's serious, dance-influenced rock of the highest order. [The Sony reissue offers 24-bit digitally remastered sound.]

It was great in the 80's and now it's better!!
I had this album in the 80’s I thought it was insightful taking; religion, love, anger, and the basic concepts of life and twisting them with a healthy dose of honesty. The music is spot on with regards to the lyrics. I can’t imagine a better album, or a more resonate statement of today political environment, written in the 80’s it still rings true. Something that today’s music just seems to miss. If you want to explore a perceptive outlook with a great sound track this is a MUST HAVE… just buy and listen you’ll be rocked..

Whenever asked what cd I would bring to a deserted island, this is in the top five. A must have in any collection! Matt Johnson outdid himself with this one!
