Systematically Impressive
MRC has always boasted the capacity to illustrate a range of emotions through several avenues. As Eluvium he is no one-trick pony. He writes "ambient" music but, unlike the majority of artists clogging the genre, he can compose a dynamic spectrum of moods without becoming dull or posing as an adult lullaby artist. He is among the greats of Robert Rich and Max Richter. Give Miniatures a listen and buy it, then buy Eluvium's catalogue, then prepare yourself for a music transformation.
One of his Best!
I was worried that this album may be an Eluvium afterthought. I was wrong. Not only does this stand strong as a beautiful collection of classical/ambient pieces, it is one of Eluvium's (Matthew Robert Cooper) best albums. I hope it gets a proper release one day!
Really Good
I own all the Eluvium albums. This one would be one of the top two of my favorites. If you were happy buying any of the Eluvium albums then I'd really expect youd like this one as much. I like Miniature 9 the most if you are thinking to only try out one song.
