Crazy Good
Deep but easily understandable lyrics make the songs great. I wish more people knew about this artist instead of all those rappers that talk about shooting and killing.

Soul Man
I don't know who this guys is, but his music leaves me feeling VERY optomistic about the next gen. I hear a guy reaching deep and telling the truth. Then he wraps it up in smart and soulful arrangements that don't clutter the message. Very inspiring.

Based in Manhattan Beach, CA, Latch Key Kid is something of a side project for singer, guitarist, and songwriter Gavin Heaney of Slackstring. The archetypal West Coast surf kid, Heaney graduated from Mira Costa, earned a teaching degree at UC Santa Barbara, and worked as a substitute teacher for a time before devoting all of his time to music.
