One man and his guitar
What can one man and his guitar do? Make you laugh, think, chuckle, and even sing along! Jacob pulls together many blues related influences, witty verse, and even some surprises to bring to you an album full of fun songs. The topics come from songwriting sessions as well as his day to day life, and they are all themes that we can each relate to. You'll find a few guest musicians sprinkled around the album too, making for a great journey from beginning to end!
Great Album!
Listening to Mistaken Identity is like getting to see Jake in concert whenever you feel like it. (Except with high end digitally-remastered sound quality and no background noise.) The bluesy-alternative folk style of the music combined with the clever lyrics are really fun! I recommend this cd to anyone who likes to smile while listening to music.
Pretty Solid
I heard about Jacob on the Jordan, Jesse Go podcast and decided to check out some of his songs. The sound is pretty much folk with a touch of the blues every now and then (Hybrid Cars Blues). The lyrics are nice, every word has its place -- the type of music you'd like to listen to while unwinding on your back porch.
