I love his voice
His voice IS different. Perhaps not for everyone - but I happen to love his sound. Holy, Holy, Holy Moses is a beautiful song - start there. You won't be disappointed.

this is a great solo venture from Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah! frontman. he has a nice earthy voice, very reminiscent of early david gray, that brings a soulful quality to his songs.
favorite tracks are "holy, holy, holy (new orleans song)", "what fun", "south Philadelphia", "modern girl"
Cover Your Ears
This guys voice is so bad he makes Tom Waits sound like Beverly Sills. And I like Tom Waits. No seriously do not play this album around infants or you'll be up all night with a cranky baby
