Everything you could ask for
Beautiful and sweet and poignant. A must have from a truly unforgettable artist. I loved it from the first listen.
Amazing!!!
This album is brilliant. From top to bottom, there is not a moment of filler. Emotions of every kind come to life whether the first, second or hundredth listen. The listener is taken on a real journey, through the sweet sentiment of "Hope" the beauty of "The Strength I Need", the playfulness of "Sunshine Guaranteed" and "Fate" and through the pure artistry of the collection. Modern Fairytale is simply a magnificent masterpiece. Thank you Marina!!!
Wondrous (is that a word?), fresh and provocative! An amazing voice!
Marina V has extended her musical range with this album. There are still touches of the more melancholy feel of her earlier work (Simply Magic, something of my own), but the butterfly seems a very appropriate member of her fairytale world, as there is a new lightness to her work. What I love most - besides her loving and vivacious personality ... and the stories of her life ... is her voice. It is not only mellifluous, but enchantingly unique. Soak in this album for awile; then check out her earlier work. You'll be extraordinarily pleased you did.
