Gregory and the Hawk has a way of making me remeber my childhood and the fond feeling associated with it while at the same time making me reflect the present and impowering me to be a better person for the future. Her music is inspiring and unique!

New York-based artist Meredith Godrea devised the pseudonym Gregory & the Hawk in 2003 as a means to escape the potential media stereotypes that often accompany female singer/songwriters. Godrea is equally proficient on guitar, piano, and violin, and her home recordings found an audience on the Internet, spawning numerous covers recorded by adoring fans and posted on various social websites.
