Album Review

Molly Hatchet's career, for many, boils down to Flirtin' With Disaster and assorted other songs from their uneven albums. Originally released in 1990, Greatest Hits does a fine job of summarizing the highlights, and the 2001 reissue goes even further, adding three tracks that weren't on the original 12-track collection, along with liner notes from Martin Popoff. The end result is the definitive summary on the pedestrian Southern boogie band — the only other album outside of Flirtin' With Disaster that most fans will need.

The OTHER side of Southern Rock

Packing more punch than Lynard Skynard but still with a southern twaing, Molly Hatchet is the hard rocker's country album. Featuring, of course, Flirtin' With Disaster, and guitar masterpieces like Bounty Hunter, Fall of the Peacemakers, and Bloody Reunion, Molly Hatchet is a great addition to your iPod. Of course, that's just my opinion...

Molly Hatchet Greatest Hits

Excellent. This is exactly what the Gibson Explorer was made for. The guitar work is top shelf. I have seen this band in their prime at least five times and had forgotten how good and tight they really were. Songs 6-10 are as good as southern rock, or any rock for that matter, get. If you like superb guitar this is really good, This is just great southern rock, Highly recommended

good stuff

Molly Hatchet knows how to dig a song into your soul! Two must have's are Dreams I'll Never See, and Flirtin' With Disaster comes in a close second.
