"Did You Have An Affair With William Holden. . . ? ?"

i loveD this MOVE!! the clothes and hair were 2 die 4!! i am very sad though that not EVERY song that is in the movie is in the soundtrack. . .dont u just HATE it when they do that. . .

Great Classics

This is a great CD full of classic songs redone by modern artists. I really enjoy listening to it. Some songs are funny, some sad, some happy... there is a little bit of everything! I love the carefree mood of the songs that helped lighten the mood of the weighty issues delt with in the movie. Great movie, great music.

Unforgivable

Unforgivable! Lovely ladies trapped in a mediocre script and a colorless soundtrack, except for one inspired choice - singer Alison Krauss getting to the very soul of What'll I Do, written in 1923 by Irving Berlin. In 86 years and several thousand performances by singers all over the world, nothing has dimmed the wit and truth of this gem. Now Ms Krauss has given us her own angelic reading in a simple, elegant performance, full of feminine grace and allure. For some reason, ITunes has decided to hold us hostage and exclude this from it’s 99c rule, even though tracks in the same album by Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, can be had for 99c. Somebody has decided that if we want this one great track badly enough, we will be willing to buy the entire album. In the interests of full disclosure, there are 4 other tracks also requiring us to buy the whole album - by Seal, Elton John, Chris Isaak and Lisa Stansfield - great performers all, but a quick listen will hardly give you the reason to buy this entire album. Most of us who regularly download ITunes music, have from the very start, given our primary loyalty to ITunes and have been staunch advocates for Apple in all arguments with PC and Amazon users. But why would anyone pay ITunes $9.99 for a very ordinary album, when all single tracks (including the jewel in the crown), is presently available from Amazon for 99c each. Please review your disturbing trend of singling out great tracks as leverage to move entire albums - isn’t this exactly the opposite of why ITunes exists - to break CDs into single tracks, so we can just pay for what we want?
