Another Incredible Album
I've been listening to Ward Swingle's group since I was a kid back in the 70's and to this day continue to be fascinated with the range of this group's vocal abilities! The voice as an instrument is made wondrously profound thanks to their highly developed technique as individuals and as a group. Even with some of the standards they sing, newness springs forth. Favorites: So What, Surfboard, and It Don't Mean a Thing. Bravo!
Sensational
This album continues to wow me with the incredible skills of these singers. These tracks range from fun and carefree like Soul Bossa Nova and Miss Jones, to very deep and sophisticated What Are You Doing? and So What.
