Dark and mysterious...
I own all their CDs, but this album is my fav! They have a super tripped out, dirge-like style, but very heavy at times, especially when you really crank up the volume. Some of the key boards remind me of the theme from the 70's show, "In Search Of" w/Leonard Nimoy, done in Black Metal style... Live long and prosper Limbonic Art!!
The best symphonic black metal album ever!
Words cannot describe the greatness that is this album as everybody gleans something different from a book or movie.
You must listen to this for the first time without distraction. Preferably in a dark candle lit room with a good headset. Trust me, it will blow your mind.
Kind of like what Dark Side Of The Moon was like after the first listen but more sinister.
96 Some of the most creative stuff I heard in that year.
