Album Review
Tech-house crew Moonbootica present a mix of retro-electro, hip-hop, and house on this self-titled 2005 release. If it wasn’t for the 21st century bass kicks, the singles “Listen” and “Pretty Little Angel” could be passed as electro from the new wavey ‘80s, while chilled tracks like the slinky “Hildegarde” and the strutting “Pimp of the Year” show off the group’s sly sense of humor. IAMX, DJ Ultra, and Client are some of the guests helping the German duo deliver this fun and funky effort.

Get em on the dance floor!
Tobias Schmidt and Oliver Kowalski are the German duo Moonbootica. Bulldog beats was the first song I downloaded from i tunes about 6 months ago, it's a real get up and move song. On the song "Sometimes"you hear Serge Gainsbourgs "Bonnie and Clyde" in the mix.
pretty good
someone help me find something original in here though. Very clean sounds, very bright - well mixed - should sound great in a club. Sounds like a cross between a certain french 'punk' outfit and one from few years ago in london. Dont want to be too critical cuz it is quite enjoyable - congrats on your first album fellas.
You do not know what roocks
they are great..... this is electro by it`s best......... even it`s from 2005 ..... hamburg rock and moonbootica rooks..... keep it up
