Good Stuff- Maturing Sound
This is the album of a band that has some records under their belt. Their sound matures, takes on a slightly different feel on this album and then foreward. They've got some experience and it shows. The quality of the recording also seems to be better. The drums develope as the guitars. They have more riffs as seen on "Moments Pass" and "Another Way." Check out these tracks.
This is heaven to my ears and heart
Moonpies was HWM's first major step in another direction. This album will always have it's place in my soul. It will be nothing like what you have heard before. A must!
This EP is seriously Hot Waters "Live at Pompeii"
I'm sitting here with Powers talking about Hot Water Music and the only thing that I know is that this is the recording that defined Hot Water Music to me. The songwriting is so interesting for them. It's got Chuck growling all over the place, the guitars are working so nice with eachother, and the drum fills just kill on this record. That's my review. It's 2006 and my favorite recording from this great band is this great EP entitled "Moonpies for Misfits". All young aspiring beard growers need to own it.
