Sony, we want the ORIGINAL B-SIDE!
In these Digital 45 reissues, we want the rare B-sides and the original single mixes/versions, like ALL the other record companies are doing with these. We DON"T want two hits that are already readily available to buy on iTunes. Please make your future issues in this series fit the concept that the other labels are following.
The ORIGINAL A-SIDE, too
Actually, "Smokin'" *is* the original B-side to this single. But the A-side version of "More Than A Feeling" was different, about a minute shorter. That said, the previous review was spot on - if you're going to try and capitalize on my nostalgia for 45s, then give me the original 45 versions of the songs.
A side B side
Great hits offered by Sony, but I agree with some of the other reviews. You bought the 45 for the A side, but sometimes you fell in love with the B side and bought the whole album. In a teenage world most kids today couldn't imagine, you usually were limited to one AM radio channel that played the same music over and over. Especially in smaller markets, there was no choice. The B side helped you know whether or not you should part with your babysitting/lawncutting earnings. The original buy one, get one free! Status was determined by how high your stack was...would have loved to have ipods then. More than a Feeling was bigger than life and still brings back great memories.
