"More Than Ever" Deserves 10 Stars
I wish I could give More Than Ever 10 stars - it's phenomenal. Every track is stellar. I was amazed by the creativity and range in this album of originals by MiG Ayesa. MiG gives us an outstanding and memorable voice, and compelling lyrics, rhythms and melodies. The variations in style keep the listening experience fresh and intriguing, yet all sounds come together into one masterfully crafted album.
I found myself lost in each song. Every track surprised me with catchy new sounds and extra touches. I was impressed by the songwriting, and blown away by MiG's fabulous performances. What a voice! Some part of More Than Ever will resonate with everyone. MiG inspires an array of emotions in this album, and that's the true test of an artist.
I loved every track, but to give you a few highlights, here's what you're going to get with More Than Ever...a big dose of funk and heat with "High," a don't-bother-fighting-it urge to get up and groove with "Summer Feeling," an attitude and great rock feel with "Nothin' You Do," and intensity and depth with "To Whom It Must Concern." Every song on the album deserves high marks. This album is for you if you like fantastic music and appreciate big-time talent. My bet is that as soon as the album finishes playing, you'll want to hear it again.
Amazing!!!!
This collection of pop/rock gems is a pure delight. Brilliant heartfelt songs, killer orchestrations and astounding vocals chops. Rockers, love songs, it's all here. If Queen and Elton John, George Michael and Robbie Willaims had sex Mig would be their love child! A must have!!!
Just Press Play
When you buy an album, there are inevitably tracks that you'd skip past to get to the good stuff. "More Than Ever" is NOT one of those albums. No need to skip. Just let it play front to back. Every song is melodious and catchy. The fantastic range of styles from song to song keeps things fresh and always interesting. The orchestrations play around Rock, Pop, R&B, even a little hint at Country.
MiG's voice is sick. Rockin and gritty at times, and then mellow and sensitive when necessary. Always appropriate to each very different sounding song. Well done sir. Great dynamic range. Also, the fact that MiG wrote or cowrote every track AND plays all the keys on the album, lends another level of cred. Again, well done sir.
All the songs are memorable, but a couple beg to be famous. "Summer Feeling" makes you wanna get in a convertible with a few friends, put the top down, and drive around town blasting and singing this song. You'd hear it on ANY radio station because of it's cross genre styling. It's got a Country Rock feel but then MiG throws in a rock scream and it's totally appropriate... and awesome. "I Need You Here" is just a beautiful pop love song. Let's slow dance. In the 1st full length song "To Whom It Must Concern" and also "Nothin' You Do," MiG's voice soars with some sick rock belting. Also, they're just great rock songs.
Just buy the album, press Play and let the MiG magic surround you. Satisfaction guaranteed.
