Lacksley...
How many reggae artists do we refer to as "what could've been..." Lacksley fits that category. Passing away too young in his early 20s (from an unknown illness, some say TB) Lacksley blessed us w/ some wicked, authentic roots cuts from this debut album Morning Glory. Lacksley was discovered by roots legend and icon Hugh Mundell and he hauntingly sounds just like Hugh. Though gone way too soon this is a must have in any reggae collection (along w/ his only follow-up Princess Lady before his timely death). Flawless production, great vocals, and songwriting. RIP Lacksley and all the other great reggae artists who helped bring JA culture to the masses.
