Okay

You guys have to know your facts before you critique a band. The Life Gone Wild EP was just for fun, because the guys, especially Danny, love 80's hair bands. This song is beastly, and for those of you saying they sold out or changed their sound, listen up. "Selling Out" means going mainstream and forgetting your roots for fame and popularity. This is NOT mainstream, this is probably their heaviest song so they obviously haven't forgotten their hardcore and metal roots. Lastly, any christian fan who thinks this song is blasphemous, you should check out Danny's twitter and read his blog about the writing process. This song is completely fictitious and was written specifically to be dark and evil. The song is more biblical, about Lucifer trying to overthrow god and take over heaven, which is an EPIC concept. So to sum up, Life Gon Wild= not their new sound, Breathless= amazing, Morte Et Dabo= murderously epic, Reckless and Relentless= potential to be their best work and the best metal-core album of 2011.

Heck. Yes.

This song is amazing. 'nuff said.

Amazing except the lyrics

I really like this song but as a Christian I hate the lyrics. They r terrible. Read for yourself:

So he came forth and said unto me
son you are forsaken
condemned for the sins that you live
I offer you forgiveness x2

Bow down before me
Bow down before me

I will never bow to he who claims to be divine
I’ll tear down your gates with my bare f***ing hands
And burn the world that you rule over
No matter how convinced you are you’re not a god of mine
you're not a f***ing god of mine

I never believed in you
from what i see it was justified
I never believed in you, in you

This power over the masses is a gift you don’t deserve
when your blood spills, we’ll drink from your skull
you can run but you can't hide

B***ch, I'll f***ing find you!
I'll tear yours eyes right out of your self-righteous face
Lord, I'll f***ing find you!
I'll dig your tongue out of your rancid f***ing mouth

Heaven will, burn to the f***ing ground
your world will crumble, and fall from the skies
blood will spill, and rain upon the earth
your reign is over, and I’ll wear your crown

This is your demise
I know you can feel it in your chest
This is your demise
it's getting closer
This is your demise
I'm creeping from the depths of hell
This is your demise
i know where you sleep
I never believed in you
from what i see it was justified
I never believed in you, in you

What a way to end the world
with false hope in a false god
What a way to end the world
with a false hope in you x2

What a way to end the world
What a way to end the world

Spanning two continents, three names, and nearly a dozen members, Asking Alexandria are a band whose short career seems to be more about change than anything else. The brainchild of guitarist Ben Bruce, the band was originally formed in Dubai in 2003 under the name Amongst Us, which soon changed to End of Reason before eventually settling on Asking Alexandria in 2006. They cemented the name change with their self-released EP, Tomorrow.Hope.Goodbye. The following year they released their first full-length...
