best local band
being from san diego, i've known of lower d for like 3 years i saw them at taste of chaos twice (they always win the ernie ball battle of the bands. they won for warped tour this year, but they've won so many times that ernie ball decided not to let them play so people wouldn't think it was rigged.) and i've seen them a couple of times at soma considering that lower d is unsigned, this recording is absolutely phenomenal the sound quality on this cd is better than a lot of bands that have a label backing them credit should also go to SCM studios, because that's where they recorded this. now onto the band itself matt is an absolutely incredible vocalist you'll probably notice some influence from daryl palumbo eddy is an awesome guitarist as is their new guitarist, john, formerly of a static lullaby (!) stefan isn't particularly remarkable, but he gets the job done, and there are some clever bass lines wound in there and finally, there's tino i can't even begin to describe the sheer talent that resides within this man he is an absolute monster on the kit i just saw them live literally two days ago (for the 3rd or 4th time) and he is just so insanely tight and believe me, the stuff he comes up with is not easy to play under the best circumstances (in a recording studio, for instance, with the option of multiple takes) but yea this is an amazing cd they're the best local san diego band, hands down and they're not even signed yet! they're going places, for sure oh, but see them live and pick up a copy of moths there, because it's only 5 dollars and the money actually goes to them, instead of to itunes
best band to come out of san diego in a while.

ahhh omg i cant believe theyre on itunes. like one of my favorite bands of all time, and not just of the new stuff but from the very beginning. normally id write a review like scrutinizing the cd but really this cds just great, no flaws and everything flows well. not too much screaming to get annoying but enough to keep u happy gotta love lower d
