Worth a listen to
If you try and imagine what kind of music the band Cake would come up with if they were to grow up and start going to high-class parties and wearing suits and ties, you start to get a feeling for Brasstronaut's sound. Beautiful, refined, fresh... Definately worth a listen to.
Brasstranaut = refreshing
Everything from Edo's voice to the trumpet is refresing to hear, the sound never gets old. You can't find this anywhere else.
Instantly In Love
I have been searching quiete a while for an album that has a semblance to the Bon Iverish (New Word) vibe, the sheer tranquility of the word in perfect harmony with the music. THIS is it, this is a composition. SO many other bands just throw a sound in there and make the lyrics disorganized because the music does not fit it. Instant fell in love with it. I was waiting for an indie band like this to introduce the trumpet in such a serene way, and they deliver. Congrats Brasstronaut
