Crowfield
Crowfield is simply one of the very best groups out there. The songs are lyrically dead on, lines that bring us home and take us somewhere at the same time. And musically you'd think these guys have played together all their lives (and in past lives). There is energy, power, and drive that only the best groups can achieve. I had the same feeling when I heard a kid named Josh Ritter on his first album and brought him to our school for a concert. I watched him tear the crowd up; the performance was electrifying, a kind of magic, energy few acts achieve. You knew you were in the presence of the real thing. I feel the same way about Crowfield. I go hear them--scratch that--EXPERIENCE them every chance I get. I'm 65 years old and feel about them the same way I did when I saw Bob Dylan and The Band in an acoustic/electric performance back in the mid-60's. Whatever any of us can do to support Crowfield, we should do. Music like this needs to be flooding the airwaves.
Rock Solid
One of my favorite new bands that just keeps getting better. The album is great and they really deliver at their live shows. If you get a chance catch these guys in concert, you will not be disappointed. Oh yea, and buy the single, it rocks!!!
Great band and even better guys
Crowfield's new music, the songwriting, and the musicianship is/has always been top notch. Yet somehow it continues to get better with everything they do. Equally as impressive and important to point out is the band's humble response to the attention they've garnered; bands come and go, but seeing talent and good character come together is a rarity these days. Buy the album and keep supporting these boys!
